Blackpool does not produce or sell anything – Blackpool invests.
We are a company your tax advisor or PR consultant would probably refer to as a “corporate raider”. We have been in existence for more than 10 years, but do not produce or sell anything. We simply try to use our equity to invest in projects and segments, but only in promising and lucrative early-stage projects in four main areas: energy production, water production, properties, and IT security.
For the past 10 years, our targeted research and outstanding connections to governments and NGOs has also enabled us and our shareholders to be part of a development or project from the start. Obviously, the closer you are to the source, the cleaner the water.
Our business principle, which we have applied since 2007, is extremely simple: the closer you are to the source, the cleaner the water.
Traditional blue chip stocks are a safe bet. They are just not always very profitable and really only make sense from a five, or better yet, 10 year perspective. Anyone who invested in Netflix, Amazon, or Ali Baba at the beginning and was then able to sell his or her shares after these companies went public yielded between 1,000 and 20,000%.
Unfortunately, we have not yet been able to find another Facebook or Google, but we would be quite happy if we were able to yield 500% from an investment in promising projects.
Today, the size of a company is no longer as important as it was in the 1950s, 1960s or 1970s. In our information society, it is now the small (but flexible) company that is able to overtake a somewhat slower, larger company. Our company, as well as many of our competitors, is participating in this type of development and one thing is clear: it was never as easy to make a lot of money as it is today!
